The physicians and staff at Advanced Pain Management (APM) Wisconsin Health Center raised more than $700 for Maple Grove Elementary School in Greenfield to help buy playground equipment and supplies. The fundraising efforts were part of the “Community Service Challenge,” a business-wide community outreach project that encouraged employees’ involvement in community service events, charities and initiatives throughout May. In this case, APM staff hosted a brat sale to raise money for the school.
“We are so glad that our efforts resulted in a significant donation to Maple Grove,” said Angie Cotto, patient care coordinator at APM’s Wisconsin Health Center, located at 4448 W. Loomis Road in Greenfield. “The people at APM are happy to help out the community where we live and work.”
According to Maple Grove Elementary School Principal Lisa Elliot, the money will be used for equipment like balls, jump rope and sidewalk chalk.
Advanced Pain Management, www.apmhealth.com, is the largest pain management group in the country, with more than 20 board-certified/eligible physicians offering the most advanced techniques for pain control. Advanced Pain Management physicians operate out of 37 locations in metro Milwaukee, the greater Madison area, Racine, Sheboygan and Green Bay.
