USPS Online savings, Click-N-Ship and Free package pickup service make USPS your best friend!
Whether you ship packages frequently — as an eBay seller or small business owner — or you just send gifts to friends and family every now and then, I’d like to give you a tip that will help you skip the trip to the Post Office and save you both time and money.
The Postal Service now offers savings on postage for customers using Click-N-Ship, our online shipping solution available at usps.com.
Click-N-Ship allows you to print both domestic and international shipping labels using a standard computer and printer. The labels include discounted postage that you pay for with a major credit card.
Options include overnight Express Mail service (2-day service for some ZIP Code destinations) with signature proof of delivery. Or 2- to 3-day Priority Mail service that includes Delivery Confirmation service at no extra charge. For packages heading out of the country, there’s Global Express Guaranteed, Express Mail International and Priority Mail International services.
Once you’ve printed your shipping label, stay online to schedule free Carrier Pickup. Your letter carrier will collect your package the next day when your regular mail is delivered. This service is free — regardless of the number of packages you’re sending. Pickup on Demand service is also available for a reasonable fee if you need a pickup at a specified time.
