Medical Director Named for Independent and Assisted Living Community

Roger V. Torres, M.D. to work with Hickory Park Independent & Assisted Living

 

CRL Senior Living Communities, a leader in senior housing, whose mission is built on a commitment to providing quality and innovative healthcare services announces the addition of Roger V. Torres, M.D. as the medical director for Hickory Park Independent & Assisted Living in Greenfield, Wis.

 

Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Torres is active in Wisconsin’s medical and academic communities. In addition to his new position with CRL, he is also the president and founder of West Allis Primary Care Physicians, S.C. in New Berlin, Wis., and Medical Director for West Allis Memorial Hospital – ACE Unit. He teaches in the department of medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin as the Assistant Clinical Professor and is an adjunct professor for Marquette University College of Nursing.

 

In his advisory role with CRL Senior Living Communities and Hickory Park, Dr. Torres will provide input regarding clinical programming, support CRL’s director of clinical services, advise and consult on resident care policies, provide quarterly education for staff, and participate in CRL’s Quality Improvement Program.

Dr. Torres will join the team of medical directors we have assembled to serve as consultants to each of our communities to provide residents with the innovative healthcare solutions that are part of CRL’s commitment to quality,” says Penny Pagel, CRL’s director of clinical services.

 

Currently the medical advisory team has been working closely with Pagel to establish additional healthcare programming including: diabetes management, incontinence programming, and fall prevention management.

 

Hickory Park Independent & Assisted Living is located at 3933 South Prairie Hill Lane, Greenfield, WI. An independent and assisted living community, Hickory Park provides assisted living care to area seniors in an independent environment. With one and two bedroom apartments, residents are immersed in a therapeutic environment designed around CRL’s Stimulation Pillars which encompass nutrition, socialization, spiritual, communications, and clinical programming.

 

Based in Neenah, Wis., CRL Senior Living Communities specializes in operating and managing state-of-the-art senior care residences that deliver the highest standard of care in specially designed therapeutic environments. The company meets the needs of seniors with independent living, assisted living and Alzheimer’s/memory impairment care communities.
