Muskego Stars Volleyball Team to play in Junior Olympics

The Muskego Stars 15 Blue girl’s club volleyball team will be traveling to Miami Beach, Florida to compete in the National Junior Olympics. The team is comprised of girls from various cities in the Metro-Milwaukee area: Laren Karlik, Laura Felker, Bianca Borga, Kaitlyn Hein and Chelsea Lallemont from Muskego; Shannon Molter from Milwaukee; Michelle Matysik from Greenfield; Casey Hermanson from Mukwanago, and Cassie Robers and Emma Ketterhagen from Burlington. The coaches are Chuck and Brittney Borga, both from Muskego. The 15 year old girls Junior Olympics competition is being held June 30-July 3, 2009 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

“This is the first year this team has played together, with only 3 members of last year’s team who returned. It is really amazing how they have come together and achieved this great honor to play in the National Junior Olympics.” The team qualified for the Junior Olympics during the Badger Region Qualifier held at Kettle Moraine High School in May.
