Advanced Pain Management to hold Charity Rummage Sale for Make-A-Wish

June 22, 2009 | 0 comments

The physicians and staff at Advanced Pain Management (APM) are holding a charity rummage sale with donations going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin.

APM employees will be combining their items into one large rummage sale to be held on Saturday, July 11, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Advanced Pain Management’s corporate office in Greenfield. Local residents and rummage enthusiasts are encouraged to attend the rummage sale and bring monetary donations for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. APM’s corporate office is located at 4131 W Loomis Road in Greenfield.

“At this time of year, a lot of people are getting rid of their old belongings and holding rummage sales,” said Linda Culver, Director of Practice Operations at Advanced Pain Management’s corporate office. “We wanted to find a way to incorporate a charity into our rummage sale, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin is a great charity. We are happy to contribute what we can.”

APM employees will be buying booths to sell their rummage items, and the money collected will go to the charity. Rummage sale attendees will also have the opportunity to donate money as they shop for items.

“We are always so grateful when the community joins us in our mission to grant the wishes of Wisconsin children living with a life-threatening medical condition,” said Forrest Doolen, Public Relations Manager for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Wisconsin. “This year the Foundation is celebrating its 25th Birthday and recently granted its 3,500th wish since being founded in 1984. The support of outside fundraisers will help us continue granting the more than 200 wishes we have in process right now.”
