Alverno College is pleased to announce it has named Lisa Pieper Director of Individual Giving in the college’s Office of Advancement. In this role, Pieper will direct all aspects of individual giving, including reaching out to individuals, alumnae, and other friends of Alverno, seeking out donors and facilitating the donation process. She will also oversee stewardship for the college and the annual fund.
Pieper brings 17 years of fundraising experience, including strategic responsibility in major gifts, planned giving and annual funds. She comes to Alverno with a successful fundraising background from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee’s College of Letters and Science, as the Director of Development. While at UWM, she was an integral part of the team that exceeded the Campaign for UWM fundraising goals, raising $122 million from private sources more than a year earlier than planned. Prior to UWM, Pieper served in various positions at Milwaukee Montessori School, the Milwaukee Public Museum and the Milwaukee Chamber Theater.
