HALE BOYS GOLF

The Huskies compiled 420 strokes to place 18th in the Franklin Invitational at Oakwood Golf Course on April 25.

Derrick Oleson fired a 95 to lead Hale, while Devin Unger shot 105, Tyler Adams 107, Dane Ulik 113 and Jake Schindelholz 117.

The Huskies then returned to the course one day later for the Lake Country Invitational at Brown Deer Park, which benefits the MACC Fund.

In eight years, the tournament has brought in just over $400,000.

Hale took only three golfers due to vacation and illness, so the Huskies were officially listed as incomplete. Oleson carded 101, Schindelholz 107 and Unger 109.

The Huskies are slated for three meets this week, with a Greater Metro Conference mini-meet on April 28 and the Brookfield Central Invitational on April 30.

Hale then competes in the Greendale Invitational at Morningstar on Friday, May 2.

"This is a busy week in the rain and cold," head coach Dan Mroczenski said.

Ben Wachniak shot an 87 to lead the Hustlin' Hawks in the Franklin Invitational at Oakwood Golf Course on April 25.

Hannah Flees fired a 101, followed by Kyle Holmes with 102, Ben Fularcyzk with 107 and Cameron Miller with 113.

Greenfield finished 15th with 397 shots in the 20-team meet.

WHITNALL BOYS TENNIS

Continuing their solid start to the season, the Falcons won two dual meets in a quadrangular at New Berlin West on April 26.

GREENFIELD BOYS TENNIS

The Hustlin' Hawks were blanked by two foes in the Waukesha Invitational at Woyahn Complex last week.

They fell 7-0 to Franklin and Waukesha South.

The Hawks welcome South Milwaukee at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 1, and visit Shorewood at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 6.

HALE SOFTBALL

The Huskies dropped a doubleheader to a strong Muskego squad on April 26, losing 13-3 and 5-2.

Pitcher Hailey Blount allowed just 12 hits combined in the two games for Muskego, which improved to 6-1.

The Huskies, who fell to 4-5, saw a game against Wauwatosa East on April 28 postponed. They are slated to welcome Brookfield Central at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1, and Brookfield East at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 6.
