The Falcons blanked two Woodland Conference opponents by 7-0 dual scores last week.

They topped Greenfield on Friday evening in a makeup dual. Singles winners were Andrew Dundas in the top spot, Shane Murphy at two, Noah Stemper at three and Matt Pook at four.

Winning at doubles were Chris Schaefer and Nate Kelnhofer at one, Mike Langenohl and Josh Damro at two and Joe Price and Jess Higgins at three.

Whitnall also defeated St. Francis on April 22. The singles lineup was the same, and at doubles were Langenohl and Damro at one, Price and Higgins at two and Cameron Clark and Brian Weidenfeller at three.


Meredith Heller won the 300-meter hurdles in 49.25 seconds at the Dan Benson Invitational at Wauwatosa West on Friday.

She also ran on the Falcons' 1,600-meter relay team with Sarah Czerwinski, Robyn Roberts and Leah Windt, which was fourth in 4 minutes, 22.54 seconds for the Falcons, who tallied 14 points for ninth place.

Whitnall also placed ninth with 18 points in the April 22 Greendale Invitational.


The 1,600-meter relay team of Joe Alexopolus, Paul Howard, Sam Mentkowski and Mike Grim finished third in 3 minutes, 37.53 seconds at the Dan Benson Invitational on Friday at Wauwatosa West.

Taking fifth were Grim in the 200 dash (23.8 seconds), the 3,200 relay team of Nathan Fronczak, Tyler Centers, Bobby Chase and Tyler Nape (9:48.55) and the 400 unit of Alexopolus, Max Anderer, Andy Karwoski and Mentkowski (45.83) for the Falcons, who tallied 12 points for seventh place.

Whitnall was 11th with 24 points in the Greendale Invitational on April 22.


Jordan Cox and Peter Keen posted third places in the Waukesha Northstar Classic at Waukesha North on Saturday.

Cox was third in the triple jump at 40 feet 11 inches and Keen in the discus with 135-2.

Claiming fourth were Joey Werner in the 300 hurdles (42.93 seconds) and the 3,200 relay team of Sam Gagliano, Edwin Morales, Tony Lozano and Tim Ebben (8:38.2) for the Huskies, who tallied 28 points for 12th place.


Elizabeth Brunner claimed fifth in the triple jump at 35 feet 9 inches at the Pre-Prom Party Invitational at Wisconsin Lutheran on Friday.

Nicole Flagge was sixth in the pole vault (8-6) and Madison Mihaljevic eighth in the 1,600-meter run (5 minutes, 56.85 seconds) for Hale, which took 10th place with eight points.


Kerby Vargas won at first singles, 6-1, 6-2, and the first doubles team of Mark Chandler and Kurt Storvik took a 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) decision as the Hustlin' Hawks beat St. Francis, 5-2, on April 25.


The Falcons dropped a pair of Woodland Conference contests last week, falling to South Milwaukee, 8-3, on April 25 and New Berlin Eisenhower, 9-5, on Friday.

Against South Milwaukee, Liz Menden had two hits and Sydney Opdahl went 3-for-3 with a stolen base.

In the Eisenhower game, Alex Cimler went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in, while Menden had a triple.


Despite goals from Ashley Markowiak and Mary Gaggioli, the Falcons fell to Franklin, 4-2, on Friday.

Goalkeeper Rachael Shulta made 10 saves for Whitnall, which also lost to Wauwatosa West, 4-0, on April 25.


The Hustlin' Hawks fell 5-0 to Greendale on April 23 in a Woodland Conference game, then posted a scoreless tie with South Milwaukee on April 25.


The Huskies tallied 353 strokes for 16th in the Lake Country Charity Invitational at Erin Hills Golf Course on Saturday.

John Zilles shot 83, Taylor Manz 85, Danny Lemanske 91 and Derrick Oleson 94 for Hale.

On Friday, the Huskies shot 370 for 11th in the Franklin Invitational at Oakwood. Zilles carded 91, Oleson 92, Lemanske 93, Arthur Arena 94 and Manz 98.

They were 22nd in the Brookfield Central Bestball on April 24 with 73, combining for 365 strokes. Zilles posted 83, Manz 89, Lemanske 95 and Oleson and Dane Ulik each 98.

They took seventh in a Greater Metro Conference mini on April 22 with 179. Zilles and Oleson fired 43, Arena 45, Manz 48 and Lemanske 48.


The Bulldogs finished 13th in the Franklin Invitational at Oakwood on Friday with 375.

Dominic Craig and Dan Doyle shot 88, which for Doyle is a personal-best score. Eric Owens fired 94, Eric Ausbon 105 and Donavon Dykstra 118.

Central was third in a triangular at Naga-Waukee on April 24 with a season-best 185. Craig shot 41, Owens 47, Ausbon 48, Adam Schroeder 49 and Doyle and Dykstra 51.

The Bulldogs tallied 225 for eighth in a Greater Metro Conference mini on April 22. Craig fired 50, Owens 56, Dykstra 59 and Doyle and Ausbon 60.


The Huskies continued to struggle last week but did post one victory, an 8-6 decision over Divine Savior Holy Angels on April 25.

Marissa Lehn went 3-for-4 with a run batted in, while Teara Morgenroth was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs.

Hale lost a 5-1 decision to Menomonee Falls on April 22 and a 9-1 game to Brookfield Central on April 23.

The Huskies also lost 6-4 in eight innings to Oconomowoc on Friday night despite a double and home run from Rachel Seefeldt.


Mitch Molbeck carded an 85 to help the Falcons to 10th place with 360 shots in the Franklin Invitational at Oakwood on Friday.

Josh Serio fired 86, Clayton Anderson 93, Phil Schram 96 and John Caron 98.

Whitnall was also second with 177 in a Woodland Conference mini-meet on April 25 and 12th with 379 in the Lake Country Charity Invitational on Saturday at Erin Hills.


The Hustlin' Hawks scored 399 shots for 15th place in the Franklin Invitational at Oakwood on Friday.

Justin Cancilla and Jaron Litza both fired 97, while Ben Fularczyk posted 102, Alec Piekarski 103 and Trevor Holmes 107.

Greenfield also took sixth with 199 in a Woodland Conference mini-meet on April 25.


The team tallied 6½ points for fifth place in the Delavan-Darien Invitational on Saturday and dropped a 7-0 dual to Brookfield Central on April 25.


Sierra Brown went 2-for-3 with a run batted in but the Bulldogs fell to Brookfield East, 19-4, on April 22.
