The Huskies slipped to 1-4 overall, 1-2 in the Greater Metro Conference, when they lost to the visiting Menomonee Falls Indians, 41-14, Friday.
Falls quarterback Max Poeske completed all four of his pass attempts for 104 yards and three touchdowns and Cole Myhra rushed for three scores in the blowout.

West Allis swimming
While the Brookfield schools dominated the swimming events, the West Allis Wave made a push for first place in diving at the Greater Metro Conference Relays at Menomonee Falls on Sept. 24.
West Allis' Alyssa Elder, Ashley Elder and Kristin Provencher tallied 348.45 points, second only to the host school's unit's total of 387.50.
The Wave was fourth twice: Olivia Harders, Lauren Riegert, Heather Garland and Taylor Lux in the 200-yard freestyle (2 minutes, 0.12 seconds) and Stephanie Nimmer, Garland, Harders and Rachel Schumitsch in the 800 free (9:23.05).
Either Brookfield East or Central won seven of 14 events, and not surprisingly, the teams tied for first with 145 points. West Allis was fifth of six teams with 108.
Shorewood claimed six events to Whitnall's two and, as a result, edged the Falcons at the Woodland Conference Relays, 310-272, Sept. 23, at Cudahy.
Whitnall won the 300 breaststroke and diving and finished second in three races. The winning breaststrokers were Laura Sullivan, Sara Arteaga, Rebecca Powers and Kate Schubert in 3:38.07.
Second-place finishers were Emma Smith, Sullivan, Arteaga and Schubert in the 400 individual medley (4:30.39); Gina Villiani, Rebecca Wiggington, Samantha Wesel and Smith in the 800 free (9:03.38); and Schubert, Arteaga, Wesel and Lauren Zurowski in the 400 medley (4:21.62).

Despite a pair of first-half goals by Carlos Esparza, the Bulldogs were unable to pick up a nonconference victory over visiting Racine Park on Sept. 23.
Park's Jalen Riley snapped a 2-2 tie in the second half to give his team the 3-2 victory. Esparza gave his team a 1-0 lead in the match's first minute and a 2-1 advantage in the 38th minute, but the Bulldogs, who also lost, 6-1, to visiting Menomonee Falls one day earlier, could not hold the lead.
The Bulldogs also made it to the finals of the Milwaukee Lutheran Invite, where they lost to South Milwaukee, 5-0, Saturday. Central (4-11) beat Wisconsin Lutheran, 2-1, Friday, and the host school, 1-0, in double overtime to reach the championship match.

The Huskies gave the visiting Wauwatosa East Red Raiders, who have qualified for the state tournament three years in a row, all they could handle in a Greater Metro Conference loss Sept. 30.
Hale pushed East to the limit in the first game before losing, 30-28. The Huskies dropped the next two games, 25-18, 25-10, and were swept despite Dylan Hardwick's match-high 11 kills and Taylor Chladek's 25 assists.
Nikolai Miskov's pair of first-half goals helped the Falcons rebound from a tough loss by beating the St. Thomas More Cavaliers at Croatian Field on Sept. 23.
Miskov scored twice on assists by Paul Craig before intermission, and after St. Thomas More trimmed the lead in half on Luis Esquivel's goal in the 43rd minute, Whitnall's defense held on for the win.
The victory came just two days after the Falcons lost, 5-0, at home against New Berlin Eisenhower.
The Hustlin' Hawks claimed two medals at the Woodland Conference Relays at Cudahy on Sept. 23.
The 400-yard individual medley relay of Lindsay Bakken, Esmeralda Perez, Ellen Campbell and Sienna Bast swam third in 4:40.85, as did the 500 crescendo unit of Campbell, Megan Fosnow, Perez and Bast in 5:09.18.
Those swims helped Greenfield take ninth of 12 teams with 144 points.
