BURGLARY

About $700 in change was taken from an unlocked residence in the 3200 block of West Lynndale Avenue between Sept. 1 and Sept. 4.

A video game system, a digital media player and an undisclosed amount of money was taken from a locked residence in the 4400 block of South 43rd Street prior to 4 p.m. Sept. 7. Police are following up with a possible suspect.

A Yellow Giant TCR2 road bike was taken out of a garage in the 3300 block of South 47th Street between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sept. 7.

THEFT

An antique farm cultivator was taken from a property in the 4600 block of South 92nd Street between noon Aug. 31 and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 3.

A 37-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting diaper ointment and an energy drink at Pick 'n Save, 4279 S. 76th St., at 9:35 p.m. Sept. 3.

Catalytic converters were taken off two vehicles at Amy's Academy, 4161 S. 76th St., between Sept. 2 and Sept. 4.

Three unidentified males shoplifted an unknown amount of clothing at TJ Maxx, 4200 S. 76th St., on Sept. 2. The suspects were last seen driving out of the parking lot in a white Intrepid. The license plate number of the vehicle was captured.

A red van was taken from the 3800 block of South 35th Street between 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Sept. 3.

A cellphone was taken at the Southwest Suburban YMCA, 11311 W. Howard Ave., prior to 6:10 p.m. Sept. 4.

Catalytic converters were taken off two vehicles at Richelon Tire, 4440 S. 108th St., between 5 p.m. Aug. 29 and 4 p.m. Sept. 5.

An unidentified male left without paying for his meal at Japanica, 4918 S. 74th St., shortly after 10 p.m. Sept. 5.

An unknown amount of cash was taken from a vehicle parked in the 4600 block of West Holt Avenue prior to 3 p.m. Sept. 6.

Two females shoplifted an unknown amount of merchandise at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., shortly before 4 p.m. Sept. 6.

A gold necklace was taken from a residence in the 2800 block of West Vogel Avenue prior to 5:10 p.m. Sept. 6.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was seen concealing merchandise at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 6:10 p.m. Sept. 6.

A 41-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was seen concealing merchandise in a Mickey Mouse purse at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 4:45 p.m. Sept. 7.

A wallet as taken from a customer at Pick 'n Save, 4279 S. 76th St., at noon Sept. 9.

ASSAULT

A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for battery after he physically assaulted a man inside Walmart, 4500 S. 108th St., at noon Sept. 3.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in the 6700 block of West Forest Home Avenue at 5:35 p.m. Sept. 3. He was also taken into custody on an open warrant with the Greenfield Police Department.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and carrying a concealed weapon (knife) during a traffic stop in the 4800 block of West Loomis Road at 1:35 a.m. Sept. 4.

A 19-year-old man was arrested for distribution of marijuana and a boy was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on 68th Street and Forest Home Avenue at 8:35 p.m. Sept. 5.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 27-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving in the 3300 block of West Layton Avenue at 2 a.m. Sept. 3. His preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.13.

ACCIDENTS

A 21-year-old West Allis woman was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries after the car she was riding in was struck by another vehicle during a road-rage incident on Cold Spring Road and 104th Street at 1:15 a.m. Sept. 1. The driver of the striking car, an 18-year-old Greenfield man, was cited for speeding, following too closely, operating left of the center line and improper passing. The driver of the other vehicle, a 22-year-old Waterford man, was cited for speeding, making an improper turn and operating left of the center line.

VANDALISM

A porta potty was tipped over and wood was scattered near the new building construction site at Konkel Park, 5151 W. Layton Ave., prior to 9:25 a.m. Sept. 3.

The rear door of a residence was kicked in and damaged in the 4800 block of West Grange Avenue prior to 2 p.m. Sept. 5. No damage estimate was given.

A vehicle was scratched with a key in the 6100 block of West Stonehedge Drive prior to 1 p.m. Sept. 6.

OTHER

A manager called police after he caught a 52-year-old man bathing his feet in the soda dispensing machine at McDonald's, 5040 S. 76th St., at 5 p.m. Sept. 3. The man became belligerent with the manager when he told him to stop. The manager did not pursue charges against the man but did ban him from the restaurant.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for prowling after he was seen wandering around residences and asking for cigarettes in the 9000 block of West Forest Home Avenue at 8:45 p.m. Sept. 3.

A 58-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he threatened to kill his neighbor in the 4000 block of South 65th Street at 8:30 p.m. Sept. 6.

A 29-year-old West Allis man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he repeatedly made telephone calls threatening bodily harm to the employees at Verizon, 4965 S. 76th St., at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 8.

A 40-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he allegedly caused a disturbance at Scotty's, 3800 S. 108th St., at 11:15 p.m. Sept. 9.

FIRE

A 53-year-old man was cited for negligent use of burning materials for burning wood outdoors (without a fire pit) and starting his neighbor's fence on fire in the 4600 block of South 111th Street at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 8.

Greenfield police responded to three domestic violence calls and assisted with two rescue calls and three fire calls between Sept. 3 and Sept. 9.
