A resident in the 4400 block of South 43rd Street reported three men broke into his house, hit him in the back of the head with an unknown metal object, punched him in the face numerous times and stole about $1,000 in cash from him at 12:35 p.m. March 5.
A TV was stolen out of a room at the Golden Key Motel, 3600 S. 108th St., prior to 10:50 a.m. March 4.
A man sold someone a software program for $40, then fled without giving him the program while the two were behind Mega Media Exchange, 7315 W. Southridge Drive, at 1:45 p.m. March 5. The victim stated he gave $40 to the subject, who called himself "Nick," and when he gave him $40 in cash the man took off.
A resident reported $40 in cash was stolen from a wheelchair at Kindred Care and Rehab, 5700 W. Layton Ave., sometime between 8:30 p.m. on March 2 and 1 p.m. March 5.
An thief stole four aluminum and glass doors stored behind Layton Glass, 6700 W. Layton Ave., between the late evening hours of March 5 and 1 p.m. March 6.
A man stole a wallet out of a woman's purse in the back seat of her car at Target, 4777 S. 27th St., at about 3:55 p.m. March 6. The suspect, in his mid-30s and wearing a red hat, blue coat or sweatshirt and black pants, left the area in a late 90s or early 2000s white Econoline passenger van with tinted windows.
A resident reported money and credit cards were stolen from his home in the 4900 block of West Coldspring Road at 7:10 a.m. March 7. The suspect is known to the resident.
A 71-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting a razor, fragrances and deodorant at Target, 4777 S. 27th St., at 12:55 p.m. March 7. While the officer was making the arrest, a 49-year-old man attempted to shoplift a TV. He was arrested at 1:06 p.m.
A 20-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were arrested for shoplifting several bottles of alcohol from Pick 'n Save, 4279 S. 76th St., and then fled the lot in an older model, silver vehicle at 6:30 p.m. March 9.
A Sony CD player was stolen out of a vehicle in the 4600 block of West Crawford Avenue between the late evening hours of March 9 and noon March 10.
An employee reported three females left without paying for $46 worth of food at El Beso, 5030 S. 74th St., at 7:35 p.m. March 10.
An officer responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle behind Budget Cinema, 4475 S. 108th St., arrested a 19-year-old man and two 18-year-old women for possession of marijuana at 6:30 p.m. March 8.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving after she drove her car through a guard rail on South Honey Creek Drive and West Allerton Avenue at 3:35 a.m. March 7. Her blood alcohol content was 0.13.
A 52-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving (fourth offense) on West Forest Home Avenue and West Oklahoma Avenue at 3:20 a.m. March 9. His blood alcohol content was 0.12.
Police arrested a 27-year-old man for suspected drugged driving (third offense) after a caller reported a subject passed out in a purple minivan in the 3900 block of South 84th Street at 12:55 p.m. March 9. The caller stated the driver had been in Speedway and could not stand on his own, his eyes were barely open and another man was holding him up. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.
Officers responding to a report of a physical altercation between two people outside George Webb's, 4845 W. Forest Home Avenue, arrested a 22-year-old woman for drunken driving and took a 31-year-old woman into custody for having a warrant with the Menomonee Falls Police Department at 5:10 a.m. March 10. The 22-year-old woman's blood alcohol content was unavailable at the time of the report.
A 23-year-old man was transported to the hospital with neck and head pain after the vehicle he was riding in began backing out of a parking space and was struck by a vehicle driving through the lot at Outback Steakhouse, 7401 W. Barnard Ave., at 5:18 p.m. March 2. The driver of the other vehicle, a 40-year-old New Berlin man, was cited for speeding.
A 53-year-old New Jersey woman was transported to the hospital after she complained of back injuries when her car was rear-ended by another car as they were exiting a parking lot in the 3300 block of West Loomis Road at 2:23 p.m. March 6.
Glass cases containing fire extinguishers were broken at a residential complex in the 8100 block of West Forest Garden Court 7:45 a.m. March 4.
The phrase "word of love" was spray-painted on a vacant building in the 12100 block of West Coldspring Road sometime between 5 p.m. March 5 and 6:40 a.m. March 6.
A 36-year-old woman was arrested for drugged driving when she showed up for court under the influence of drugs at the Greenfield Law Enforcement Center, 5300 W. Layton Ave., at 5:45 p.m. March 6. She was also arrested for possession of narcotics (Oxycodone and Alprazolam) and possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. She was transported to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.
A Greenfield Department of Public Works employee reported harassment by a citizen while he was removing snow on South 99th Street and West Plainfield Avenue at 11:50 a.m. March 4. The worker stated the citizen, a 56-year-old man, had cursed at him, flashed inappropriate gestures and unleashed vulgarity-laced rants at him for the past two weeks regarding his snow removal. The resident, who was sitting in his vehicle watching the worker when police arrived, said he believes the snow removal is damaging the curb and gutter and is tearing up his lawn. There was no evidence of any damage and the man was warned about his behavior.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon (knife) during a traffic stop in the 6800 block of West Layton Avenue at 5:10 p.m. March 7.
A 57-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct on South 74th Street and West Edgerton Avenue after he became belligerent and began threatening other passengers on a Milwaukee County Transit System bus at 4:20 p.m. March 9.
A 22-year-old man was arrested for prowling after he was observed trying to climb up a balcony in the 7000 block of West Forest Home Avenue at 2:25 a.m. March 9.
A Greenfield Fire Department employee called police after he saw a man urinating and possibly masturbating next to a truck at the Greenfield police station, 5300 W. Layton Ave., at 3:15 a.m. March 9. Police checked the lot but were unable to locate the subject.
A 26-year-old man was arrested for suspected drugged driving (third offense) and possession of heroin after a 911 caller reported a car driving down the middle of two lanes in the 4500 block of South 76th Street at 4:50 p.m. March 9. A blood draw was taken, the results of which were unavailable.
Officers responding to a report of loud music and talking at a home in the 5000 block of South Greenbrook Terrace cited a 20-year-old woman for underage drinking and warned her about obstructing after she lied about her age at 1:20 a.m. March 10.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she was involved in a physical altercation with an employee at George Webb's, 4845 W. Forest Home Ave., at 3:35 a.m. March 10.
