BURGLARY
Jewelry and coins were taken from a residence in the 9000 block of West Cold Spring Road by two unidentified males requesting buckets of water between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Jan. 31. The suspects, described as two heavy-set white males in their 40s, one wearing a gray jacket and jeans and one wearing a long tan jacket, left the area in an older model, gray-colored SUV with unidentified plates.
Two guns were taken from an apartment in the 4000 block of South 35th Street prior to 5:25 p.m. Feb. 3.
THEFT
A green duffel bag containing candy and a wallet with several credit cards was taken at Whitnall High School, 5000 S. 16th St., between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 27.
Three unidentified males fled without paying their bill at George Webb, 6231 S. 27th St., at 1 p.m. Jan. 30.
A 28-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting bottles of shampoo at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., shortly after 5 p.m. Jan. 30.
A 27-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting a pizza from Speedway, 4265 S. 60th St., at 6:30 a.m. Feb. 1.
A muffler was taken off a vehicle parked in the 4800 block of South 108th Street sometime after 3 p.m. Feb. 1.
A license plate was taken off a vehicle in the 10300 block of West Oklahoma Avenue prior to 3:20 p.m. Feb. 1.
A jacket was taken from a student at Greenfield High School, 4800 S. 60th St., prior to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 1.
Two 17-year-old boys and a 16-year-old boy were arrested for shoplifting a pair of headphones at Best Buy, 4610 S. 76th St., at 1:50 p.m. Feb. 2. The three suspects were also cited for obstructing police.
Two 15-year-old boys were cited for theft after taking $61 from a student at Whitnall High School, 5000 S. 116th St., at 2:11 p.m. Feb. 2.
A black, 1997 Ford Crown Victoria was taken in the 3200 block of South 43rd Street prior to 5:26 a.m. Feb. 3.
Several rings were taken from a jewelry box in a bedroom at a residence in the 5900 block of South 34th Street prior to 1:10 p.m. Feb. 3.
A customer's purse was taken from a shopping cart at Target, 4777 S. 27th St., at about 1:38 p.m. Feb.3. The incident was caught on video surveillance, and police are investigating.
A woman's wallet containing a driver's license, two debit cards and a medical card was taken at Silver Cinemas-Budget South, 4475 S. 108th St., prior to 9:30 p.m. Feb. 3.
Prescription medication was taken from a residence in the 4000 block of South 65th Street prior to 10:45 p.m. Feb. 4. The victim, a 45-year-old woman, told police she bought a moped from a subject known as "Slim," and after he left her home she noticed her medication was gone. Police are following up.
A black/white Coach purse was taken off a pinball machine at the Scuttlebutt Lounge, 5175 S. 27th St., around 10:15 p.m. Feb. 5.
ASSAULT
A 17-year-old boy was physically assaulted in Konkel Park, 5151 W. Layton Ave., shortly after 7 p.m. Feb. 2. Police have a suspect and are investigating.
DRUG POSSESSION
A 27-year-old man was arrested for possession of narcotics in the 4300 block of South 27th Street at 4:55 p.m. Jan. 31.
A 21-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on South 27th Street and West College Avenue at 11:10 p.m. Jan. 31.
A 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of narcotics in the 3600 block of South 108th Street at 11:50 p.m. Feb. 2.
An 18-year-old woman was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 11200 block of West Morgan Avenue at 10:33 p.m. Feb. 5.
DRUNKEN DRIVING
A 23-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving in the 4700 block of South 108th Street at 12:42 a.m. Feb. 5. His blood-alcohol content was unavailable.
A 34-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving after she struck another vehicle in the parking lot of Romines, 6125 S. 27th St., at 12:51 a.m. Feb. 5. Her BAC was unavailable.
A 27-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, after he almost got into an accident while pulling into McDonald's, 5040 S. 76th St., at 2:32 a.m. Feb. 5. He was conveyed to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.
ACCIDENTS
A bicyclist was struck and injured by a vehicle in the 4100 block of South 108th Street at 7:05 p.m. Jan. 30.
VANDALISM
Graffiti was spray-painted on the rear of a vacant building in the 12100 block of West Cold Spring Road prior to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 30.
Graffiti was spray-painted on the southeast side of Our Father Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6025 S. 27th Street, prior to 1:20 p.m. Jan. 31.
A mailbox was struck and damaged in the 3300 block of South 44th Street around 4 p.m. Feb. 3.
A total of 17 mailboxes, two cars, one street sign and a real estate sign were marked with green paint in the 4900 blocks of South 81st and 82nd Streets prior to 10 a.m. Feb. 5. The paint used was a chalk-type marking substance that washes off and didn't appear to cause damage.
OTHER
A resident in the 3300 block of South 100th Street reported his Social Security number was used to file taxes by an unidentified subject.
A 12-year-old boy was cited for disorderly conduct after striking an adult at Greenfield Middle School, 3200 W. Barnard Ave., at 12:35 p.m. Feb. 2.
Greenfield police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with five rescue calls and one fire call between Jan. 30 and Feb. 5.
