BURGLARY

A resident reported two garage side doors were damaged when an unidentified suspect(s) gained forced entry into a parking area in the 8100 block of West Forest Garden Court between the afternoon of Feb. 3 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 6. Nothing was reported missing from the garage.

THEFT

A 2012 Value Hauler cargo trailer and a 2010 Continental Cargo trailer were taken from Ultimate Truck & Car Accessories, 3515 S. 108th St., on Feb. 4.

Two pairs of tennis shoes were taken from two separate lockers in the boys' locker room at Whitnall High School, 5000 S. 116th St., between 9 a.m. and 9:03 a.m. Feb. 6.

A red purse containing a checkbook was taken from a vehicle parked at Southwest YMCA, 11311 W. Howard Ave., prior to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 7.

A 35-year-old man was arrested for pumping $59 of gas and leaving without paying at BP, 4715 S. 27th St., at 1:40 p.m. Feb. 7.

A purse was taken from a locked vehicle in the 4700 block of South 108th Street between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Feb. 7. A window was smashed for entry.

A counterfeit $20 was passed at McDonald's, 4275 S. 27th St., shortly after 12:30 p.m. Feb. 8. Police located the suspect, who stated he picked up the bill on the north side earlier in the day.

A license plate was taken off a vehicle in the 4700 block of South 76th Street prior to 3:10 p.m. Feb. 8.

A wallet was taken at Whitnall High School, 5000 S. 116th St., on Feb. 8.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting infant clothing, valued at $58, at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 9.

A 26-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting and criminal damage to property after he damaged two video game controllers while trying to remove them from packaging at Target, 4777 S. 27th St., at 1 p.m. Feb. 9.

An HTC Vivid cell phone was taken from a display at AT&T, 5075 S. 76th St., between Feb. 10 and 5:10 p.m. Feb. 11.

A caller reported her cell phone was taken while she was at Bounce Realm, 4595 S. 27th St., prior to 6:20 p.m. Feb. 11. The phone was allegedly picked up by a little girl who placed it in an unidentified location.

ASSAULT

A woman called police to report an unidentified man wearing a ski mask, a hood and dark pants put her in a chokehold and tried to drag her while she was walking in the 2800 block of West Ramsey Avenue shortly after 7:30 p.m. Feb. 9. Police checked the area but could not find a suspect.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 20-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana and cited for no vehicle insurance during a traffic stop in the 6200 block of South 27th Street at 1 a.m. Feb. 8.

A 31-year-old woman was arrested for possession of narcotics and a 38-year-old woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 8 following a traffic stop. A caller had reported that a black station wagon was speeding, weaving, driving into oncoming traffic and running multiple red lights in the 4600 block of West Grange Avenue. Police located the vehicle at a nearby gas station, where the two suspects were taken into custody.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on South 54th Street and West Forest Home Avenue at 1:20 a.m. Feb. 11.

A 25-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on South 27th Street and West Cold Spring Road at 9:45 a.m. Feb. 11.

A 17-year-old boy was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 4200 block of West Layton Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. Feb. 12.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 33-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, in the 3000 block of West Layton Avenue at 2:25 a.m. Feb. 6. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for operating after suspension on South 39th Street and West Layton Avenue at 2:45 a.m. Feb. 7. His blood-alcohol content was 0.16.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested for drunken driving in the 4500 block of South 27th Street shortly before 6 a.m. Feb. 10. His BAC was unavailable.

A 37-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 4400 block of South 27th Street at 12:45 a.m. Feb. 12. Her BAC was unavailable.

A 29-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after police observed him driving the wrong way in the 4300 block of South 76th Street at 12:50 a.m. Feb. 12. His BAC was unavailable.

VANDALISM

A 31-year-old woman was cited for hit and run/property damage after she struck and damaged a mailbox in the 6100 block of South 38th Street and left the scene without reporting the accident prior to 5:30 a.m. Feb. 6.

A rear window of a parked vehicle was smashed in the 3400 block of West Colony Drive prior to 3:20 p.m. Feb. 12.

OTHER

A 34-year-old man was arrested for obstructing police/impersonating an officer after he attempted to pull over an on-duty police officer in an unmarked police car in the 5600 block of West Forest Home Avenue at 3:25 p.m. Feb. 6. The suspect was driving a retired police squad, a black-and-white Crown Victoria, and attempted to pull over the unmarked squad by using the vehicle's strobe lights.

A 34-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he threatened an employee at Famous Dave's, 5077 S. 27th St., at 7:40 p.m. Feb. 6. The suspect was located at Mad Dog Saloon, where he was also issued citations for carrying a concealed weapon and operating after suspension.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested for prowling and carrying a concealed weapon after she was observed attempting to open doors on several cars in a parking lot in the 4800 block of South 76th Street at 10:45 a.m. Feb. 7.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested for obstructing police after she used a relative's name after being stopped for a headlight violation in the 5100 block of South 27th Street at 8:42 p.m. Feb. 8. She was also cited for operating after suspension and for unrestrained children in the car.

A resident asked police for assistance in moving her large dog, which was injured, inside her residence in the 3700 block of South 56th Street shortly after 7:30 p.m. Feb. 10.

Greenfield police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with one rescue call between Feb. 6 and Feb. 12.
