Police Report: Dec. 4

BURGLARY

Around $500 was taken from a slot machine at United Seniors of Wisconsin, 4515 W. Forest Home Avenue between the late evening hours of Nov. 27 and around 12:30 p.m. Nov. 28. The building had been left unlocked during the overnight hours.

Two shotguns were taken from an apartment in the 10100 block of West Cold Spring Road prior to 3 p.m. Dec. 2. The victim told police his apartment was burglarized two weeks earlier and he just noticed that his weapons were missing.

THEFT

A tablet computer was taken off an employee's desk at Russ Darrow Mazda, 3520 S. 108th St., on Nov. 24. The incident was captured on video surveillance.

The rear license plate was taken off a car parked at Meyers Restaurant, 4260 S. 76th St., prior to 10:15 a.m. Nov. 27.

Two unidentified males shoplifted jewelry at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 27. The suspects were described as two white males, one wearing a black jacket and one wearing a white, yellow and blue jacket and both wearing hats. They fled the store parking lot in an older model silver Toyota Celica.

A 25-year-old woman was arrested for taking drugs from a group home in the 4900 block of South 68th Street around 9 a.m. Nov. 28.

Two unidentified suspects shoplifted a television at Walmart, 10600 W. Layton Ave., shortly before 7:30 p.m. Nov. 28. The suspects were last seen driving southbound on Highway 100 in a light blue Chevy Malibu, from which a license plate number was recorded.

A 30-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man were arrested for shoplifting grocery items at Pick 'n Save, 4279 S. 76th St., shortly after 6 p.m. Nov. 29.

An unidentified male shoplifted a cart full of merchandise at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., about 9:30 a.m. Nov. 30. The suspect was last seen driving southbound on 27th Street in a dark blue Chevy Venture, from which a license plate number was recorded.

Two unidentified men took $2,500 worth of scratch-off lottery tickets from a machine at Ken's Shell, 5909 S. 27th St., on Nov. 27. The owner stated the suspects were somehow able to get their money back each time they purchased a ticket.

A resident reported his black 2009 Ford Mustang was taken from his driveway in the 10200 block of West Spring Green Road between late evening Dec. 1 and 5:55 a.m. Dec. 2. The victim was later contacted by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department, who advised him his vehicle was located on the freeway in downtown Milwaukee where it had crashed into a wall.

A 20-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting merchandise at Target, 4777 S. 27th St., at 4:40 p.m. Dec. 2. Police are seeking two female accomplices, described as a heavy-set black female wearing all black and a black female wearing neon green pants, who are also suspected of shoplifting at Rogan's Shoe Store, 4350 S. 76th St., at 3 p.m. the same day. The suspects were last seen driving a Dodge Stratus. Police have a license plate number.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 27-year-old man was arrested for delivery of marijuana in the 11700 block of West Whitaker Avenue at 6:25 p.m. Nov. 28.

A 19-year-old man, a 17-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on South 60th Street and South Honey Creek Drive shortly after 4 p.m. Nov. 29.

A 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 4200 block of South 76th Street about 5:30 p.m. Dec. 1.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 39-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving (second offense) in the 4400 block of South 76th Street shortly after 2 a.m. Nov. 27. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.

A 21-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving after she drove into a light pole on 35th Street and Howard Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. Nov. 27. Her blood alcohol content was 0.25.

A 47-year-old Greenfield man was arrested for drunken driving (fourth offense) on 47th Street and Layton Avenue at 3:30 a.m. Dec. 1. His BAC was unavailable.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving and possession of marijuana in the 4800 block of West Forest Home Avenue at 3:10 a.m. Dec. 2. Two passengers in his car, a 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old man, were arrested for possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle and the 23-year-old was also arrested for possession of marijuana. The driver's BAC was unavailable.

VANDALISM

A window of a parked vehicle was smashed at the U.S. Army Recruiting Station, 6196 W. Layton Ave., prior to 1:15 p.m. Nov. 26.

The driver's side window on a parked vehicle was smashed in the 5000 block of South 116th Street prior to 3:15 p.m. Nov. 27.

Three windows on a garage and the siding were shot with a BB gun in the 3500 block of South 48th Street prior to 4 p.m. Nov. 28.

The windows of a parked car were smashed at Walmart, 10600 W. Layton Ave., about 5:30 p.m. Nov. 29. A witness said a woman used a baseball bat to smash the windows. Police have the license plate number of the suspect's vehicle.

A vehicle was scratched with a key at Mad Dog Saloon, 4395 S. 76th St., prior to 3:40 a.m. Dec. 2.

OTHER

A 28-year-old woman was arrested for passing a forged prescription at Walgreens, 4688 S. 108th St., shortly after noon Nov. 26.

An 18-year-old man and a male juvenile were cited for disorderly conduct after a physical altercation at Greenfield High School, 4800 S. 60th St., at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 26.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for forgery after he attempted to cash a check at Guaranty Bank, 4661 S. 27th St., at 10:15 a.m. Nov. 27.

An area watch was requested in the 5200 block of Woodbridge Lane after a resident called police to report a suspicious person who was possibly attempting to entice children in the area at 4:10 p.m. Nov. 27. The white male in his 30s, with brown hair and a light-colored mustache, started talking to a 7-year-old while she was walking home from school. Parents were advised to call police if they see the man again.

A counterfeit $10 bill was passed at Heights Finance Company, 3829 S. 108th St., prior to 4:45 p.m. Nov. 29.

Officers responded to the 4800 block of West Anthony Drive after a resident reported finding a toddler, around 18 months old, wearing only diapers and running down the street shortly before 9 a.m. Nov. 30. The child was turned over to his siblings and the case was referred to the Bureau of Child Welfare.

A 43-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for obstructing police after she gave a false name during a traffic stop on 27th Street and Ramsey Avenue shortly after 2 p.m. Nov. 30. She was also taken into custody for having an outstanding warrant for forgery with the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.

A 38-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after the owner of Hideaway Inn, 5105 S. 27th St., called police to report a customer said something about a gun at 11:30 p.m. Nov. 30.

A resident called police to report an animal carcass was dumped in a driving lane in the 4100 block of South 68th Street shortly after 10:30 a.m. Dec. 1. The carcass turned out to be the ribcage of a butchered deer. City workers were informed and the ribcage was removed.

A 39-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he pounded on a neighbor's door, screamed and threatened her in the 4300 block of South 45th Street at 4:35 a.m. Dec. 2.

Greenfield police responded to three domestic violence calls and assisted with five rescues and one fire call between Nov. 26 and Dec. 2.
