THEFT

Two tires were taken off a vehicle in the 5000 block of South 67th Street between 7 p.m. Aug. 5 and 4:30 a.m. Aug. 6.

A 64-year-old man was arrested for theft after he refused to pay his bill, then refused to leave Outback Steakhouse, 7401 W. Barnard Ave., at 8:45 p.m. Aug. 6.

Two pieces of 12-inch diameter corrugated metal culvert pipe - one five-foot piece and one 20-foot piece - were taken on South 69th Street and West Van Norman Avenue between 8:30 p.m. Aug. 7 and 8:25 a.m. Aug. 8.

Several items were taken from a storage locker at an apartment building in the 7000 block of West Southridge Drive prior to 2:15 p.m. Aug. 8.

A bag containing an undisclosed amount of cash and prescription medication was taken in the 4600 block of South 49th Street prior to 4:20 p.m. Aug. 8.

A 47-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting cosmetic items and toiletries at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 8.

A purse was taken from a locked vehicle in the 4400 block of West Loomis Road prior to 4:50 p.m. Aug. 8. A back window was smashed for access.

Two laptop computers were taken from a car in the 4600 block of South 76th Street between 6:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Aug. 8.

A stereo system was taken from a locked vehicle in the 3900 block of South Sunset Square prior to 8:50 a.m. Aug. 9. A window was smashed for access.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting steak at Pick 'n Save, 4279 S. 76th St., at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 9.

A small swimming pool was taken from a yard in the 7000 block of West Layton Avenue prior to 2:40 p.m. Aug. 10.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting after she became uncooperative and combative when she was detained by store security at Target, 4777 S. 27th St., at 8 p.m. Aug. 10.

A backpack was taken from a car parked in the 4100 block of South 60th Street between the evening of Aug. 10 and 9:55 a.m. Aug. 11.

A stereo and tools were taken from a locked truck in the 4100 block of South 60th Street between the evening of Aug. 10 and 11:45 a.m. Aug. 11. A window was smashed for access.

An Evinrude motor was taken off a boat in the 12100 block of West Chapman Avenue between July 25 and Aug. 11.

A GPS unit, a phone charger and sunglasses were taken out of a vehicle parked in the 3300 block of South 45th Street prior to 6:45 p.m. Aug. 11.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 22-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 4300 block of South 76th Street at 7:50 p.m. Aug. 6.

A 37-year-old woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after she was stopped by police for attempting to shoplift merchandise at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 6.

A 26-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop on South 108th Street and West Edgerton Avenue at 9:15 p.m. Aug. 7.

An 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested for possession of marijuana in the 4200 block of South 35th Street shortly after 11 p.m. Aug. 11.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 34-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving in the 4700 block of West Layton Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. Aug. 6. His preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.13.

A 35-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving in the 7600 block of West Forest Home Avenue at 2 a.m. Aug. 10. His preliminary BAC was unavailable.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after he was seen driving recklessly in the 4100 block of South 66th Street shortly after 8:30 p.m. Aug. 10. His preliminary BAC was unavailable.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving (second offense) after she came to pick up another driver who was pulled over by police for possible drunken driving in the 5900 block of South 27th Street at 12:30 a.m. Aug. 11. Her preliminary BAC was unavailable.

A 29-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after another motorist reported seeing an impaired driver in the 2500 block of West Layton Avenue at 1:45 a.m. Aug. 11. His preliminary BAC was unavailable.

A 58-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving on South 27th Street and West Loomis Road at 3:15 a.m. Aug. 11. His preliminary BAC was unavailable.

A 43-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after he was found slumped over the steering wheel of his car on South 35th Street and West Wilbur Avenue at 2:50 p.m. Aug. 11. His preliminary BAC was unavailable.

A 43-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving in the 5500 block of West Forest Home Avenue at 2:25 a.m. Aug. 12. His preliminary BAC was unavailable.

VANDALISM

A carved Tiki tree sculpture was vandalized in the 4200 block of South 64th Street between 8 p.m. Aug. 7 and 4 a.m. Aug. 8.

A stone was thrown through a picture window at a residence in the 6300 block of West Leroy Avenue between 3:30 p.m. Aug. 7 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 8.

A rear window was broken on a car parked in the 7000 block of West Cold Spring Road between 6 p.m. Aug. 8 and 6 p.m. Aug. 9. Nothing appeared to be missing from the vehicle.

A passenger side door lock and the ignition lock on a vehicle was damaged during an attempted car theft in the 5300 block of South Tuckaway Lane between 8 p.m. Aug. 7 and 2:50 p.m. Aug. 10. Nothing was reported missing from inside the car.

The steering column on a vehicle was damaged during a theft attempt in the 3400 block of West Lynndale Avenue between 8:40 p.m. and 9 p.m. Aug. 10.

The front passenger side window was forced open and the ignition was punched out of a Dodge Stratus during a theft attempt in the 3800 block of South Miner Street between 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Aug. 10.

A resident reported his car was scratched with a key while parked at Walmart, 4500 S. 108th St., prior to 3 p.m. Aug. 11.

A 24-year-old man was arrested for vandalism, disorderly conduct and trespassing after he was seen throwing rocks at properties in the 10100 block of West Cold Spring Road shortly after midnight Aug. 12.

OTHER

A 37-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he drove around barricades into a construction area in the 4100 block of South 35th Street, and when asked to leave he drove over a worker's foot at 12:20 p.m. Aug. 6. The worker refused medical attention.

A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at McDonald's, 4275 S. 27th St., prior to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 8.

A 22-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he allegedly pushed and harassed two girls in the 6900 block of West Forest Home Avenue at 2:25 a.m. Aug. 10.

A resident reported an unknown male teenager dropped his shorts and exposed himself to her, then fled to the back of an apartment complex on South 92nd Street and West Howard Avenue shortly after 10:30 p.m. Aug. 10. The victim stated she also saw an image in her rear view mirror that looked like buttocks, and thought the subject mooned her while she was leaving. Police were unable to locate the suspect.

A 75-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting after he allegedly struck a man with his car in the parking lot at Barnes & Noble, 4935 S. 76th St., and then fled the area at 9:20 p.m. Aug. 11.

Three 20-year-old men, three 19-year-old men and a 20-year-old woman were cited for underage drinking at a residence in the 4000 block of South 41st Street at 9:30 p.m. Aug. 11. Police were notified of the party after a few of the partygoers accidentally walked into a neighbor's house carrying beers.

A resident called police to report a man was masturbating in a gray SUV in a parking lot in the 5400 block of South 27th Street at 2:55 p.m. Aug. 12.

Greenfield police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with five rescue calls between Aug. 6 and Aug. 12.
