A shotgun, a kayak, a compressor and miscellaneous tools were reported stolen from a residence and garage in the 4100 block of West Barnard Avenue at 7:20 p.m. April 3. The resident told police the thefts occurred sometime during the last two weeks. No signs of forced entry were seen at the home.
The front license plate was stolen off a vehicle parked at Budget Cinemas, 4475 S. 108th St., on March 30.

A 53-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was seen hiding merchandise at Target, 4777 S. 27th St., at 2:10 p.m. April 3.
A resident at Clement Manor, 3939 S. 92nd St., reported $50 was stolen out of his wallet at 6:20 p.m. April 3. An employee stated the theft took place sometime within the past week.

A 1993 Honda Accord was stolen while it was parked in the 3900 block of South Tara Hill Drive between the late evening hours of April 3 and 9:20 a.m. April 4.
An unknown male and female tried to shoplift a laptop computer at Best Buy, 4610 S. 76th St., at 3:30 p.m. April 4. The pair fled the store in a silver 2000 Chevy Silverado pickup truck with an extended cab. The computer was recovered by store employees.
A boy reported his bicycle was stolen from Glenwood Elementary School, 3550 S. 51st St., at 6:30 p.m. April 4. Police are following up with a possible suspect.

A woman called police after two unknown females jumped her and beat her in the parking lot at the Southwest Suburban YMCA, 11311 W. Howard Ave., at 2:10 p.m. April 2. The unknown suspects said they were retaliating against her on behalf of a 47-year-old man the woman got a restraining order against that morning. The victim was treated at the scene for cuts and injuries on her hands and face.
A 32-year-old man was arrested for possession of heroin after a caller reported a man either passed out or sleeping in a running car at Speedway, 6000 W. Layton Ave., at 3:10 a.m. April 2.
A 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana and operating after revocation during a traffic stop in the 3900 block of South 27th Street at 2:15 a.m. April 6.
A 42-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving (fourth offense) in the 12200 block of West Beloit Road at 2:20 a.m. April 3. His blood alcohol content was unavailable.
A 27-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving on 47th Street and Layton Avenue at 2:15 a.m. April 4. Her blood alcohol content was 0.16.
A 45-year-old woman was arrested for drunken driving after an off-duty police officer saw her driving westbound in the eastbound lanes in the 4300 block of West Loomis Road at about midnight April 6. Her blood alcohol content was unavailable.
A 56-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for an unsafe lane deviation in the 8400 block of eastbound Interstate 894 at 12:25 a.m. April 7. His blood alcohol content was unavailable.
A 13-year-old girl was taken to the hospital with a possible head injury after the car she was riding in was struck by a vehicle making a left turn at the intersection of 76th Street and Edgerton Avenue at 6:56 p.m. April 1. The driver of the striking vehicle, a 16-year-old Franklin boy, was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way.
A 19-year-old man was arrested for hit and run after he struck a vehicle that was stopped at a red light on 76th Street and Cold Spring Road, and then fled westbound on West Forest Home Avenue at 7 p.m. April 4.
A resident in the 4900 block of South Meadow Park Lane reported someone "peeled" the steering column on her 2003 Dodge Caravan at 1:35 p.m. April 1.
A 32-year-old man was cited for vandalism and excessive noise after he became intoxicated and pounded on several doors in an apartment building in the 3300 block of South 100th Street at 6:30 p.m. April 1. The man damaged the building manager's door during the incident.
A resident in the 4200 block of South 97th Street called police after the driver of a red convertible "burned out" and struck his mailbox at 5:45 p.m. April 3. The car, a red Chevy Camaro or Corvette, was last seen driving westbound on Plainfield but police were unable to find the car.
A caller reported a white male in his early 20s driving a Dodge scratched his vehicle while it was parked at Aquatics Unlimited, 3550 S. 108th St., at 3:35 p.m. April 6.
The windshield of a vehicle was smashed while it was parked in the 3400 block of West Wilbur Avenue between the late evening hours of April 6 and 7:30 a.m. April 7.
A 27-year-old man was arrested for obstructing after he became resistive and combative with police at Tuesday Morning, 4930 S. 74th St., on April 1. Officers responded to the store when an employee reported a woman and her baby appeared to need help after they were left at the store by the woman's boyfriend after an argument. The boyfriend returned after officers arrived and police had to deploy a Tazer to subdue him.
A 17-year-old girl and another girl were arrested for underage drinking in the 4900 block of West Loomis Road at about 1 a.m. April 2.
A resident in the 5200 block of South Tuckaway Boulevard called police at 3:30 p.m. April 2 to report a television news crew was at her residence earlier that day and were very pushy and aggressive with her and trying to get inside her home. She was advised not to open the door for media and to call police if they return and cause problems.
A 25-year-old woman was arrested for obstructing an officer after she gave police a false name during a traffic stop in the 4500 block of South 76th Street at 8:10 p.m. April 3.
A 22-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she and another woman caused a disturbance at Mad Dog Saloon, 4395 S. 76th St., and tried to punch an employee at 12:35 a.m. April 4. Police are still seeking the other suspect, a 34-year-old Milwaukee woman.
A 17-year-old boy and another boy were arrested for disorderly conduct after they were seen throwing rocks at a car in the 4700 block of West Layton Avenue at 11:15 p.m. April 4.
A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was allegedly seen following an 11-year-old boy around trying to show him text messages that were sexual in nature at the Southwest Suburban YMCA, 11311 W. Howard Ave., at 11:30 a.m. April 6.
Greenfield Police assisted the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office by finding and arresting a 42-year-old Greenfield man at his home in the 4300 block of South 43rd Street after he allegedly pointed a handgun at another driver on the freeway at about 1:45 a.m. April 7.
Greenfield police responded to two domestic violence incidents and assisted with one rescue call and one fire call between April 1 and April 7.
