THEFT

Tires were taken from a pickup at Braeger Ford, 4201 S. 27th St., prior to 8:35 a.m. March 25.

A man's wallet and a woman's purse were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 3800 block of West Plainfield Avenue prior to 11:40 a.m. March 25. The victims also stated their credit cards were later used.

Police are seeking a 28-year-old Milwaukee man who shoplifting an undisclosed amount of groceries at Pick 'n Save, 4279 S. 76th St., at about 9:30 p.m. March 25. Police identified the man through his vehicle, which police had towed from the parking lot.

The rear license plate was taken off a vehicle in the 4700 block of West Forest Home Avenue prior to 1:30 p.m. March 26.

A 39-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting two watches, valued at $39, at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 6:45 p.m. March 26.

Two male juveniles were arrested for shoplifting after they were seen concealing headphones inside a backpack at Best Buy, 4610 S. 76th St., at 6:15 p.m. March 27.

A 21-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was observed concealing merchandise at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 3 p.m. March 28.

A 30-year-old woman, a 29-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were arrested for shoplifting after they were seen concealing children's clothing in their purses at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 9 p.m. March 28.

A woman's wallet containing $200 cash was taken from the front seat of an unlocked car at Speedway, 4265 S. 60th St., at about 4 p.m. March 29.

A 23-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting an undisclosed amount of groceries at Pick 'n Save, 4279 S. 76th St., at 8 p.m. March 29. He was also taken into custody for bail jumping and on warrants from the Franklin Police Department and the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.

A 26-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting hair products, freezer pops and diapers, valued at $80, at Walgreens, 4296 S. 76th St., at 10:45 p.m. March 29.

A 9-mm semi-automatic Ruger handgun was taken from the center console of a car parked in the 4900 block of South Bartel Drive prior to 11:25 a.m. March 31. There were no signs of forced entry.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman were arrested for possession of heroin and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 9100 block of West Waterford Avenue at about 8 p.m. March 29.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 53-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving on 83rd Street and Howard Avenue at 10:25 p.m. March 25. His blood alcohol content was 0.11.

A 30-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving at the Greenfield Police Station after the Milwaukee Police Department reported a possible intoxicated driver exiting Interstate 94 at Beloit Road at 5:10 a.m. March 29. The man came to the police station to pick up his brother, who had been arrested for disorderly conduct earlier that morning, and he was taken into custody after Greenfield police discovered the man's vehicle matched the description of the suspected drunken driver's vehicle given to them by Milwaukee police. His BAC was unavailable.

A 30-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving on Forest Home Avenue and Cold Spring Road at 3:15 a.m. March 31. His BAC was unavailable.

ACCIDENTS

A 60-year-old Milwaukee woman was transported to the hospital with possible injuries after she struck a vehicle attempting to make a right turn in front of her vehicle while she was traveling westbound on Layton Avenue near 60th Street at 3:34 p.m. March 20. The driver of the other vehicle, a 16-year-old Greenfield boy, was cited for failure to yield the right of way, inattentive driving and making an improper turn.

A 25-year-old man was arrested for operating after revocation after he drove his car into a ditch in the 3400 block of South 100th Street at 4:14 a.m. March 30. The man stated he swerved to avoid a raccoon and crashed his car into the ditch. A 20-year-old woman in his car was also arrested for resisting arrest after she started to physically fight an officer while waiting for a tow truck to arrive at the scene.

VANDALISM

Graffiti was spray-painted on Pier 1 Imports, 5170 S. 76th St., prior to 12:30 p.m. March 25.

Graffiti was spray-painted on seven garages in the 4600 block of South 46th Street prior to 2:30 p.m. March 27.

The windows of a vehicle were smashed while it was parked at a residence in the 4700 block of South 46th Street prior to 7 p.m. March 27.

Graffiti was spray-painted on a garage door in the 4600 block of South 47th Street prior to 4:30 p.m. March 27.

Windshield wipers were removed from about 50 vehicles at Rosen Nissan, 5505 S. 27th St., at 8:15 a.m. March 29.

OTHER

A 44-year-old man was arrested for obstructing traffic on the northwest corner of 27th Street and Layton Avenue at 1:10 p.m. March 25.

A 32-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he got into a fight with another person in the parking lot at Pet Supplies Plus, 4505 S. 76th St., at 3:45 p.m. March 25. An employee told police he believed the argument started when one of the participants was bitten by the other's dog.

A 49-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she caused a disturbance by yelling at employees and customers at Burger King, 4651 S. 27th St., at 3:30 p.m. March 26.

A 44-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she became intoxicated and began yelling at her neighbor's wife and called her neighbor's daughter fat in the 4300 block of South 45th Street at 5:45 p.m. March 26.

A 45-year-old man was arrested for prowling after he was seen walking through a parking lot and looking into vehicles, then opened the door of a utility van parked in front of a store in the 4400 block of South 108th Street at 7:45 p.m. March 27.

A 19-year-old man and an 18-year-old man were arrested for disorderly conduct following a fight involving three individuals in the 3300 block of South 100th Street at 3 a.m. March 29.

A resident in the 3300 block of South 100th Street was cited for misuse of 911 at about 4:10 a.m. March 29 after he called the emergency line three times to report his wife was trying to take his cellphone away from him.

Two used hypodermic needles and a latex tourniquet were found in the roadway on South 67th Street and West Holmes Avenue at 2:45 p.m. March 30. Police located the paraphernalia and destroyed it.

A 64-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he stated, "I shoot nurses," at Southpointe Healthcare Center, 4500 W. Loomis Road, at about 7 p.m. March 30.

Greenfield police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with four rescue calls between March 25 and March 31.
