Police seeking suspect in armed robbery
Greenfield police are looking for a man who robbed Ken's Shell, 5909 S. 27th St., during the early morning hours of Nov. 21.
According to the police report:
Shortly before 2 a.m., an employee standing outside of Ken's Shell was approached by a man wearing an orange mask who forced him into the business and demanded money. The employee told police the suspect implied he had a handgun, but he could not see the weapon because it was covered by a cloth. After the suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of money, he made the employee lay on the ground while he fled on foot. He was last seen running westbound on Ramsey.
K-9 Badger was deployed to track the suspect, but police were unable to find him. The suspect is described as a black male wearing a black pullover hoodie, dark blue pants and white and black tennis shoes. Police have surveillance video of the robbery and are investigating.
