Man accused of sexually assaulting daughter

A 39-year-old Greenfield man could face up to 80 years in prison if he is convicted on charges that he sexually assaulted his now 14-year-old daughter on dozens of occasions when she was between 4 and 10 years old.

According to a criminal complaint filed Friday in Waukesha County Circuit Court:

The daughter estimated her father forced her to perform oral sex about 50 times over the six-year period. The locations of the incidents varied, with at least one taking place at the girl's grandparents' home in the city of Brookfield and at least one at Wirth Park in the city of Brookfield.

After his arrest, the man told police the actual number of sexual encounters probably was closer to 60 or 70. He said other incidents happened in West Allis, Greendale and Greenfield.

The man told police that the incidents were "rather embarrassing" and "totally wrong." He said the incidents started out as a game but progressed from there.

He is facing two charges of first-degree sexual assault of a child younger than 13, a Class B felony that carries a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison.
