Aldermanic candidate pledges her dedication

March 10, 2009 | 0 comments

Public Forum:

I look forward to representing the citizens of the 4th District of the Greenfield Common Council. I will treat all constituents with respect and focus on your needs and concerns.

My decisions and votes will be made on in-depth research, the long-term benefits of the city and input from you, the residents of the district.

I will serve as a watchdog for the residents and taxpayers of the district and city, holding the line on taxes and ensuring that sound management and financial practices are followed.

Public safety is a top priority, and I will ensure that our Fire, Police, Public Works and Health Departments have the tools they need to keep us safe and secure.

I will champion quality of life in the city by working closely with our library staff and award-winning Park and Recreation Department.

We have great schools, businesses, parks and, of course, citizens. Let's work together so Greenfield continues to be a great place in which to live, work and raise our families.

If you have any questions, you can contact me at pam.akers2@yahoo.com or (414) 281-6998. Time for change in the 4th District.

Pam Akers

Greenfield aldermanic candidate
