BURGLARY

Multiple items were taken from a residential garage in the 4700 block of West Van Beck Avenue prior to 2 p.m. Feb. 13.

Four necklaces and one bracelet were taken from a residence in the 3200 block of South 45th Street between 8 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. Feb. 14. Entry was gained through a bedroom window.

THEFT

A resident in the 4000 block of South 65th Street reported his credit card was taken from his home and was used to make fraudulent purchases in Milwaukee at 8:30 a.m. Feb. 11. The victim identified a possible suspect and police are following up.

Food was taken from Sendik's, 8333 W. Layton Ave., at about 1:10 p.m. Feb. 11. The unidentified suspect fled in a white Pontiac Grand Prix.

An employee's smartphone was taken while she was working at Red Lobster, 4645 S. 76th St., prior to 4:45 p.m. Feb. 11.

Two unidentified men and an unidentified woman shoplifted a helium tank, a bouquet of balloons and a variety of baby shower items at Party City, 5058 S. 74th St., at about 5 p.m. Feb. 13. The three suspects fled south on South 76th Street in a gold Audi with no license plates. Police were unable to locate them.

A computer was taken from a locked vehicle in the 3500 block of South 108th Street prior to 10:45 p.m. Feb. 13. A window was broken for entry.

Miscellaneous papers were taken from an unlocked car parked at Club Paragon, 3578 S. 108th St., prior to 12:30 a.m. Feb. 14.

A 26-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting and resisting arrest after he was seen concealing items, then fled from an employee who was trying to detain him, at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 1:45 p.m. Feb. 14.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting a pair of shoes at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 4:50 p.m. Feb. 14.

Police are seeking a 20-year-old woman who attempted to shoplift clothing from Target, 4777 S. 27th St., at 5:15 p.m. Feb. 15. The woman fled the store in a green Pontiac Sunfire, leaving her husband and two children behind. Police arrested her husband, 18, for disorderly conduct.

A purse was taken from a locked car parked in the 4200 block of South 27th Street prior to 10 p.m. Feb. 15. A window was smashed.

A purse was taken from an unlocked SUV in the 3400 block of West Mangold Avenue early morning on Feb. 15. The stolen purse was located outside a residence in the 6100 block of South 33rd Street at 11:45 a.m. and was returned to its owner.

A stereo was taken from a locked vehicle at Target, 4777 S. 27th St., between 9 p.m. Feb. 15 and 4 p.m. Feb. 16. A window was smashed.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 22-year-old woman was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in the 4400 block of South 27th Street at 6:45 p.m. Feb. 16.

A 33-year-old woman was arrested for possession of marijuana and operating after revocation during a traffic stop in the 5500 block of West Howard Avenue at 9:35 p.m. Feb. 16. The passenger in her car, a 30-year-old woman, was also taken into custody for having two valid Greenfield police warrants for contempt of court and contributing to truancy.

Officers checking on a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot at Sonic, 5763 S. 27th St., arrested a 20-year-old man for possession of drug paraphernalia at 3:20 a.m. Feb. 17.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 29-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after an employee called police to report an intoxicated driver passed out in his vehicle in front of BP Gas, 4715 S. 27th St., at 2:30 a.m. Feb. 11. The driver left the lot before police arrived. He was located at Motel 6, where he was taken into custody. His blood alcohol content was 0.19.

A 29-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving (second offense) and was cited for multiple traffic violations in the 5000 block of South 76th Street at 1:40 a.m. Feb. 11. He was taken to the hospital for a legal blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.

A 62-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving (third offense) in the 6500 block of West Edgerton Avenue at 2:05 a.m. Feb. 14. His BAC was unavailable.

A 59-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving in the 10500 block of West Layton Avenue at 9:20 p.m. Feb. 14. His BAC was 0.11.

ACCIDENTS

A 20-year-old West Allis woman was injured and transported to the hospital after a driver ran a red light and collided with her vehicle, causing her car to collide with a third vehicle and strike a traffic signal, at the intersection of 76th Street and Edgerton Avenue just before 1 p.m. Jan. 30. The other driver, a 22-year-old Greenfield woman, was cited for disregarding a traffic signal and no insurance.

A 27-year-old Wauwatosa woman was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries after her car was rear-ended by a vehicle while she was stopped at a red light on 108th Street and Cold Spring Road at 12:50 p.m. Feb. 8. The other driver, a 79-year-old Milwaukee man, was cited for inattentive driving.

VANDALISM

A window was damaged by a BB or pellet gun at a residence in the 4200 block of South 79th Street at about 8:30 p.m. Feb. 13. The resident told police a small, older model dark red vehicle drove slowly past the house, he heard several "pops," and discovered a hole in his window. The vehicle was last seen driving westbound on Plainfield.

A car's taillight was smashed at Greenfield High School, 4800 S. 60th St., prior to 2:25 p.m. Feb. 14.

The lock on an apartment door was damaged in the 5000 block of South Greenbrook Terrace between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Feb. 14.

A rock was thrown at a window in the 5100 block of West Forest Home Avenue prior to 9:15 a.m. Feb. 16.

A front window was damaged by two BB pellets in the 4200 block of South 79th Street at 12:05 p.m. Feb. 17.

OTHER

A resident in the 6500 block of West English Meadows called police after her ex-boyfriend, a 32-year-old man, showed up at her apartment and threw milk at her shortly before 9 p.m. Feb. 13. Police were unable to locate the man.

A man called police after he and another person used their vehicles to block in the car of an intoxicated man because he had a small child in his car at Tower Restaurant, 6869 W. Forest Home Ave., at 10:45 p.m. Feb. 15. The restaurant manager obtained transportation for the drunken man.

A woman called police at about 11 p.m. Feb. 15 after an unidentified driver in a black, four-door vehicle followed her from 25th Street and Kilbourne Avenue to the 5300 block of West Layton Avenue after a road rage incident. When the woman turned into the police station the vehicle continued driving eastbound on Layton. The license plate on the vehicle is registered in Monroe and police are following up.

Greenfield police responded to three domestic violence calls and assisted with five rescue calls and one fire call between Feb. 11 and Feb. 17.
