Greenfield police are seeking a man who caused a disturbance and brandished a knife in front of an off-duty Milwaukee Police officer Jan. 15.

According to the police log:

The off-duty officer observed a man yelling and wielding a knife in the parking lot at Walgreens, 4296 S. 76th St., at about 1:33 p.m. Jan. 15. When the officer attempted to leave the lot, the subject walked in front of her vehicle, blocked the path for her to leave, and then put the knife up the sleeve of his jacket.

The man then got into the passenger side of a dark-colored, two-door Saturn that was parked in an area parking lot. The off-duty officer followed the car. It was last seen traveling northbound to the area of South 68th Street and West Morgan Avenue.

The subject is described as a five-foot-eight-inch Hispanic man between the ages of 30 and 40 with a medium build and wearing a black hat. The driver of the vehicle was described only as a white male.
