Three unidentified male suspects took a man's wallet and cellphone during an armed robbery by the park pavilion at Dan Jansen Park, 4820 S. 74th St., around 9 p.m. Nov. 6. The victim told police one of the suspects, who was wearing a dark hoodie and black, baggy jeans, displayed a handgun with a squared-off end. Police are investigating.
Tools valued at $120 were taken from a garage in the 4800 block of South 86th Street prior to 3 p.m. Nov. 5.
The back door was kicked in a burglary attempt at the Greenfield Historical Society, 5601 W. Layton Ave., during an attempted burglary around 6:40 a.m. Nov. 7. Nothing was reported missing from inside the building.
Copper piping was taken from the basement of a residence in the 3600 block of South 33rd Street between 3:30 p.m. Nov. 6 and noon Nov. 9.
A man's wallet was taken on South 76th Street and West Layton Avenue shortly after 4:30 p.m. Nov. 6.
Two boys were arrested for shoplifting after they were seen concealing a dog collar at Pet World, 5415 S. 27th St., shortly after 7 p.m. Nov. 6. One of the boys was also cited for carrying a concealed weapon.
A smartphone was taken from a vehicle in the 3600 block of South 108th Street between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Nov. 7.
Two deep-cycle boat motors were taken off a boat in the 5300 block of South 43rd Street prior to Nov. 7.
A GPS unit and a stereo were taken from a vehicle in the 5800 block of South 42nd Street prior to 7:35 a.m. Nov. 8.
A 54-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting $263 worth of merchandise at Stein's Garden Center, 3725 S. 108th St., shortly after noon Nov. 8. The man fled on a Milwaukee County bus going northbound on South 108th Street. He was picked up by West Allis police on South 108th Street at Washington Avenue.
A 23-year-old man and a 27-year-old man were arrested for shoplifting two video games at Best Buy, 4610 S. 76th St., at 12:45 p.m. Nov. 8.
A GPS unit, two CD players with removable faceplates, an amplifier and two subwoofers were taken from three locked vehicles at the park-and-ride lot at 4800 S. 108th St. prior to 1:45 p.m. Nov. 8. Car windows were smashed for entry.
A 33-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting $404 worth of merchandise after she was seen allowing the children accompanying her to conceal merchandise in their backpacks, including Blu-Ray movies and other accessories, at Best Buy, 4610 S. 76th St., at 5 p.m. Nov. 8.
Two unidentified females shoplifted makeup after going into the restroom with their shopping basket and concealing it at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., prior to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 8.
A license plate was taken off a car parked in the 4600 block of South 76th Street prior to 9:10 p.m. Nov. 8.
A 17-year-old girl was arrested for shoplifting and vandalism after she damaged a display and was seen concealing a cellphone in her purse at Kmart, 4601 S. 27th St., at 7 p.m. Nov. 9.
Batteries were taken off a boat in the 4600 block of South 68th Street prior to 11:35 a.m. Nov. 10.
A purse containing bank cards, a Social Security card, a smartphone and cash was taken at Clark, 4621 W. Forest Home Ave., on Nov. 10.
A 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 3000 block of West Ramsey Avenue at 4:50 p.m. Nov. 5.
A 19-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and a state charge of operating after revocation during a traffic stop on 108th Street and Oklahoma Avenue at 1:20 a.m. Nov. 9.
A 23-year-old man was arrested for possession of narcotics during a traffic stop in the 4600 block of South 27th Street at 12:35 p.m. Nov. 10.
A 29-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, on South 76th Street and West Holmes Avenue at 2 a.m. Nov. 5. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which weren't immediately available.
A 40-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving and vandalism after he became intoxicated, caused damaged to a residence in the 3800 block of South 35th Street, then drove away around 2:30 p.m. Nov. 5. An officer pulled his car over in the 3600 block of South 35th Street, where he was taken into custody. His blood alcohol content was 0.17.
A 30-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was seen trying to push his car, with its airbags deployed and horn continuously sounding, into the parking lot at McDonald's, 4275 S. 27th St., at 9:20 p.m. Nov. 5. His BAC was unavailable.
A 31-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving on 60th Street and Forest Home Avenue at 2:20 a.m. Nov. 6. His BAC was 0.19
A 55-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving after a two-car accident on South 43rd Street and West Cold Spring Road at 8:15 p.m. Nov. 7. His BAC was unavailable.
A 25-year-old Milwaukee woman was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries after the vehicle in which she was a passenger made a left turn from 76th Street onto Edgerton Avenue and was struck by a vehicle driving northbound at 8:18 p.m. Nov. 2. The driver of the turning vehicle, a 34-year-old Greenfield man, was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
A 61-year-old New Berlin woman and her passenger, a 13-year-old West Allis boy, were transported to the hospital after their car was struck by a driver who failed to stop for a red light on 27th Street at the Interstate 894 off-ramp shortly after 10 a.m. Nov. 5. The driver of the striking vehicle, a 68-year-old Milwaukee man, was cited for disregarding a traffic signal.
A 44-year-old Greenfield man was cited for hit and run after he drove off the road and struck two mailboxes in the 4300 block of South 35th Street prior to 5:10 a.m. Nov. 8. Police were able to locate the suspect after the front license plate fell off his vehicle during the accident and was found at the scene.
The interior of a vehicle was damaged while it was parked in the 5500 block of South 45th Street between 6 p.m. Nov. 5 and 7 a.m. Nov. 6. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle, which was left unlocked.
Three political signs were damaged in the 3500 block of West Kimberly Avenue between the evening of Nov. 6 and 8 a.m. Nov. 7.
A window of a pickup truck was broken and the windshield was cracked while it was parked in the 7300 block of West Southridge Drive shortly after 8 p.m. Nov. 7. A witness stated two boys, abou 12 years old, damaged the car with a BB gun then fled toward South 72nd Street. Police were unable to locate the suspects.
A tire was slashed on a truck parked in the 3900 block of South 40th Street between the evening of Nov. 8 and 9 a.m. Nov. 9.
Three windows were smashed on a car parked in the 4000 block of South 41st Street prior to 5:25 a.m. Nov. 10.
A 35-year-old man was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon after he was seen carrying a knife at a bus stop on the southeast corner of 76th Street and Layton Avenue at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 5.
A 25-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct after he refused to leave his grandparent's residence in the 6100 block of West Stonehedge Drive, and also damaged some windows about 8:45 a.m. Nov. 8.
An 18-year-old man was cited for disorderly conduct after harassing a neighbor in the 4300 block of South 60th Street at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9.
Greenfield police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with four rescue calls and three fire calls between Nov. 5 and Nov. 11.
