Suspect in custody for possible child enticement
Greenfield police have a suspect in custody for allegedly trying to force two girls into his vehicle on Sept. 16.
According to the police report:
Two 13-year-old girls were followed home from school by a man in a gold-colored, midsize car around 2:30 p.m. Sept. 16. When the girls arrived home, the man demanded they get into his vehicle. The girls ran into the house and told an adult about the incident, who then called police.
The suspect was quickly found through the car license plate number.
Police are still investigating the incident and charges are pending.
