Greenfield police are investigating who is responsible for creating two cyber-bullying profile pages on the Facebook aimed at Whitnall High School students.
According to a police report, a Greenfield woman called local authorities Aug. 14 to report she discovered a derogatory Facebook web page aimed at Whitnall High School students, including her daughter.
The woman told police the profile pages, called "Whitnalls Uglys" and "Whitnalls Hoes," made her concerned for the welfare of her child, as well as other children whose pictures are posted.
Greenfield police were unable to find the creator of the website, but gave the woman a phone number so she can contact Facebook to see if the profiles could be deleted. A detective has been assigned to the case and is seeking to find out who is responsible for creating the web pages.
