CAMPUSNEWS

The following students made the fall semester dean's list at Carroll University in Waukesha: from Greenfield, David Emanuele, Joseph Kitten, Connor Lewandowski, Rachel Niles and Jennifer Voit; and from West Allis, Dominick Balistreri, Melissa Gall, Steve Hammerer, Justin Jasniewski, Courtney Kagy, Kate Miller, Jordan Pollard and Barbara Wankowski.

The following students made the fall semester dean's list at Carthage College in Kenosha: from Greenfield, Kerri Hoehn; and from West Allis, Patrick Berard, Dana Ehrmann, Briana McGhee and Emily Woodard.

SCHOOLSCENE

Nicole Lang of West Allis, a student at Nathan Hale High School, earned a $2,500 National Achievement Scholarship as a result of high test scores on the 2010 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.

SERVICENEWS

Air Force Airman Michael C. Mueller graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Mueller is the son of Mary Mueller of Greenfield and a 2010 graduate of Whitnall High School in Greenfield.

Army Pvt. Natalie J. Nelson has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. Nelson is the daughter of Jill Nelson of West Allis and a 2009 graduate of West Allis Central High School.
