The Greenfield Police Department will use this forum to share information relative to community service, community crime prevention and community safety issues. Don't be Scammed
We have recently investigated burglaries that begin by scamming elderly residents. The scam begins with two males coming to the door of an elderly resident and informing them that they are there fixing a neighbor's roof. One of the males distracts the elderly resident by asking for a bucket of water while, the other subject is looking through the home and stealing valuables. If you are a Greenfield resident and something similar to this has happened, please contact the Greenfield Police Department at (414) 761-5300.
This type of scam is not uncommon. Always be leery of unsolicited visitors wanting to enter your residence for any reason. In order to solicit services or products door-to-door in Greenfield, the solicitor must have a permit issued to them from Greenfield City Hall. Ask to see this permit and confirm it is legitimate by calling the police. If they do not have a permit, call us so that we can determine if they are soliciting for a legitimate business or looking to steal from the neighborhood. The sooner you call us, the sooner we can stop the scams from occurring.
When you call us try to remember personal characteristics of the solicitor. Sex, national origin, age, height, weight, and clothing descriptions will be very helpful. If they came in a vehicle the color, style, make, and license plate number would be great information for the police.
Please keep an eye on your neighbors who might be vulnerable to this type of scam and call us if you suspect it is occurring. Help us keep your neighborhood safe!

This is a direct violation of the 14th amendment.
ALL PERSONS born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the EQUAL PROTECTION of the laws.
"I suggest you seek assistance from the courts if you wish to attain custody of your son." I suggest you uphold the Constitution of the United States of America & go downtown & have a judge issue the order for a warrent and if they do not then arrest them. I do not see what is so hard about enforcing the law against a judge, WE THE PEOPLE pay your salary. This is not a custody matter it is a criminal matter & I dare even 1 of yous to even say that I am not his father on the record. EVEN ONE!!!!!!!
