That's Life
As a career professional, volunteer, mom, wife, and friend, I focus on the positive aspects of life, even when the road is rough getting there. Life is funny. How you treat others, how you handle situations, and how you live each day is your responsibility ... so are the outcomes.
A Community Comes Together - A Weekend of Giving
Congratulations to D. Volk for winning the Kenny Chesney tickets last night in the raffle held for Homes for Our Troops. We raised $655, and it will be added to the proceeds from tomorrow's 9-Pin Tap bowling tournament.
Kenny Chesney - Win 2 Tickets
Win Kenny Chesney Tickets!
Kenny Chesney - 2 tickets to the Miller Park, Milwaukee WI tour stop (Saturday, May 18) are being "52-chance raffled" to raise funds for:
"Homes for Our Troops, a national highly-rated non-profit, non- partisan 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2004. They are strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious injuries since September 11, 2001.
It is our duty and honor to assist severely injured veterans and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and to coordinate the process of building a home. Since inception, administration and fundraising costs are only 9.6 % of revenue. Through your generous donations, the homes Homes for Our Troops provide to our veterans are given at no cost." This is not just another raffle. It is a way to show kindness and compassion for humanity. It is a way we all can play a part in something bigger than ourselves. It is a way to honor our armed forces by contributing to their stability.
Only 52 cards will be sold - $20 each OR 2/$35 (Great seats!)
