State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Every month, the state Department of Transportation (DOT) focuses on a particular traffic law to garner greater public awareness. This month’s featured law is driving too fast for conditions.
The DOT reminds that driving at speeds that exceed what is appropriate for road conditions could result in a citation costing $213.10 and four demerit points.
