State Senator Mary Lazich (R-New Berlin) represents parts of four counties: Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Walworth. Her Senate District 28 includes New Berlin, Franklin, Greendale, Hales Corners, Muskego, Waterford, Big Bend, the town of Vernon and parts of Greenfield, East Troy, and Mukwonago. Senator Lazich has been in the Legislature for more than a decade. She considers herself a tireless crusader for lower taxes, reduced spending and smaller government.

Memorial Day 2014

Three-day weekends customarily provide time for sharing stories, friendship, time with family and friends, and celebration.  Memorial Day is a patriotic day to remember brave men and women that served and died protecting our nation, and enabling us to enjoy our freedom each and every day.  Memorial day, we acknowledge the importance of lives lost, our brave military members died duirng wars to ensure our great country is the freest in the world. The courageous men and women believe in principles and ideals so powerful that they were willing to fight and die for our country, democracy, and freedom.                   

We honor current serving military members protecting our country and its interests in places all over the world and here at home.  They are sacrificing their lives every day to make the world a safer place to live. We remember the family and friends of our military members.  The sacrifices made by military members must never be overlooked or forgotten.  Let us remember past and current military personnel and their resolve to carry on the never-finished work of advancing freedom.
