The Whitnall School District serves the communities of Hales Corners, Greenfield and Franklin and is comprised of Hales Corners Elementary, Edgerton Elementary, Whitnall Middle School and Whitnall High School.
Whitnall Middle School students and staff have kicked off their 2014 Walk-A-Thon, the school’s annual service learning opportunity and fundraising effort. This year’s walk is scheduled for Friday, May 30, from 12:45-3 p.m., at Whitnall High School’s Falcon Field track, 5000 S. 116th St.
Hales Corners Elementary students enjoyed the Puppet Story Theater: Where Your Imagination Makes the Story during the school's artist-in-residence program week.
Puppeteers are Kate Blank and Kim Lese kicked off the fun with three performances of TOP SECRET: Project Fair, Monday, April 28, to be followed by more performances later in the week. The show incorporated the school's PBIS and Falcon Feathers initiatives as well as DPI Common Core standards.
The freshman Student Senate is holding a rummage sale 4:30-7 p.m. Friday, May 9, and 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Whitnall High School, 5000 S. 116th St., Greenfield.
On Wednesday, April 9, Whitnall Middle School students and staff will be recognizing National Autism Awareness Month by wearing blue and engaging in informational activities during their allotted PBIS time during the school day.
