I live in Greenfield with my husband and cat. I work full time. Frugality and simplicity have been a part of my life long before they became popular and it has made life a lot less stressful. I love volunteering, home improvement/decorating, crafting and gardening.
Our holidays were somewhat shattered due to workplace politics and liars - people and situations that we all encounter in our lives. I hate both and pride myself on not getting involved in politics, whenever possible and staying clear of lying. Bigots, liars, cheaters, backstabbers, phoney balonies, etc. appear to so often get ahead in life faster than the people who are none of these and, unfortunately, there is not much we can do about it except sit back and wait and see what happens.
I am a firm believer in "what goes around, comes around" so this, too, shall pass. I would hope that the people I love and care about who have suffered as a result of political BS and lies will come out ahead in the "game" of life.
I am blessed to work for a good company; my husband - not so much.
There are companies in our World that cut corners, lie to vendors, cheat on work orders, etc and as a result people who use their products get hurt or worse. If someone has the guts to speak up about it, they get the "shaft". Unfortunately, it may take years before the truth ever comes out.
And, to end this blog, I ask a simple question - do European companies REALLY care about their employees or is that just a myth I have always heard. I know the answer.................
