Read to Lead Report and Plan Released at Highland View Elementary School in Greendale

This morning I attended Governor Walker and Wisconsin State Superintendent Tony Evers announcement at Highland View Elementary School, Greendale, Wisconsin, about the results of the Lead to Read Task Force.  Some of the highlights are attention to University training for teachers, kindergarten screening, and teaching students based on screening. The Task Force results are a product of a bipartisan group, comprised of the Governor, Superintendent of Public Instruction, teachers, researchers, advocates, and legislators.  Here is a link to the Read to Lead Report.
