Salty goodness
December 20th's Favorite Thing - Pecans
I am not much of a salty-junk food fan. Potato chips are OK, pretzels are bland to me, peanuts are good, but those Planters Dry Roasted peanuts can be too much of a good thing.
But a handful of pecans on a hot fudge sundae gives a great saltiness to counteract the sweetness. And chopped pecans in pancakes... heaven.
And at Christmas time, some of my Ain't B's pecan logs are the first thing a devour from her plate of Christmas cookies. Don't get me started on pecan pie, either.
I really like Pecans.
